The current shift available is full time set schedule, Sunday-Wednesday night shift, 6P-6A on site at Marshall Medical south, Boaz.

There is a total of four weeks of day shift training required for this position. The training center is located in Huntsville, AL.

Training schedule is day shift, Monday-Friday 7A-5P or 6A-6P.

Training includes:

PT training each day
OC spray
AXON taser
Handcuffing
Verbal MOAB
CPR
Physical MOAB
AVIRT
IAHSS

Requirements for the position:

Clean background screening including clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug screen
A high school diploma GED or equivalent
Ability to participate in physical exercises each day of training
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation

Training is paid at $15/hour, after training and certifications completed pay is $17.75/hour.

Job Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to our clients. You will promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. You will need to understand and comply with DSI and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. You will participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures, as well as DSI’s safety manual. You will be interacting with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.

This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements.
