Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Monroeville, PA

Schedule:
Day shift, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Days vary

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services at a high-traffic retail environment. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible presence, deter theft and disturbances, and assist customers and staff as needed while enforcing site policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the assigned location
• Conduct continuous walking and standing patrols
• Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Assist with loss prevention and incident response
• Provide professional customer service to the public
• Communicate clearly and effectively with staff and management
• Follow all company and client security policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for the duration of the shift
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in public-facing situations
• Must be able to pass a background check
