Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conference event and meeting site cleanup across multiple areas: meeting rooms, banquet halls, washrooms, and garbage disposal
- Auto scrub building hallways; wipe entry/exit doors, walls of hallways, and garbage room
- Clean and maintain common areas
- Parkade cleaning
- Pressure washing exterior surfaces as required (with proper safety measures)
- Strip and wax floors; carpet cleaning as needed
- Building exterior high-level glass cleaning (to be performed with appropriate fall protection and equipment)
- Follow daily cleaning schedules, maintain cleaning logs, and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning chemicals; maintain inventory and request supplies as needed
Key requirements:
- Full availability for night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed for a long term.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Prior cleaning experience preferred; training will be provided for specialized duties.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
