Elite Investigations is seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers to join our growing team in the Hicksville and Bethpage Long Island, NY area.

This is in a Institutional environment.

As a Security Officer for this medical facility in Long Island, you will be held to above-quality standards as a server of our surrounding communities. Being a Security Officer, you must maintain exceptional customer service skills, while striding in your confident presence with our clients. You must also have the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly, effectively, and efficiently.

As a Security Officer with our company, you will be responsible for initiating and completing daily reports, in addition to reporting any emergencies. As a talented team member, you will command a high-standing presence when posted at our sites. Some of the other duties include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in / out all visitors entering and leaving the building 
• Provide access control
• Provide escort services as needed
• Monitor the different areas by utilizing CCTV
• Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the property, including exterior grounds
• Maintain Order by strategizing access control and making sure exterior spaces are kept clear
• Verbally de-escalating issues that may arise while on duty and reporting all abnormal occurrences in a timely manner. 
• Providing direction and notification for all activity in the building.
• This is a detailed orientated facility; you will be expected to multi-task while maintaining order in the common areas.

Qualifications:

MUST have valid NYS Guard License

MUST be able to speak, read and write the English language fluently

MUST be able to work indoors as well as outdoors to conduct foot patrols
