About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment within an office building setting. The ideal candidate is observant, customer-service oriented, and able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrances, exits, and general activity
• Perform routine patrols of interior and exterior areas
• Verify visitor credentials and manage access control
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Write clear and accurate daily activity reports
• Assist employees, contractors, and visitors with directions and basic inquiries
• Ensure building policies and safety procedures are followed
• Communicate effectively with management and other security staff

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred (office building experience a plus)
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be able to pass background checks and any required screenings
• Valid security license/certifications (if required by your state)
