Responsibilities:

• · Lead lobby operations and maintain visible presence in the building.
• · Ensure life safety systems are operational; report any deficiencies.
• · Oversee and assist tenants, employees, visitors, and guests with professionalism.
• · Monitor and respond to suspicious activity and ensure safety of the building   environment.
• · Manage building access through card and visitor management systems.
•  Conduct regular inspections of fire safety equipment to ensure compliance.
• · Respond to emergencies, including elevator entrapments, and provide clear communication.
• · Review daily logs, incident reports, and staff training.
• · Prepare reports, document unsafe conditions, and follow up on corrective actions.
• · Assist with fire drills and staff training on fire safety protocols.
• · Perform other safety and security duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• · Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• FDNY CoF F-89 
• · High School Diploma or equivalent.
• · Security guard license or ability to obtain one.
• · Previous experience in security, law enforcement, fire safety, or customer service is preferred.
• · Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• · Proficient in Microsoft Office and security systems (CCTV, Access Control, etc.).
• · Reliable transportation to the job site.

Salary $30.00 to $31.00 per hour depending on location
