Part-Time Luxury Retail Security Officer

Location: Short Hills, New Jersey

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Flexible weekend, daytime, and evening hours
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

We are seeking a polished and professional Luxury Retail Security Officer to support safety, customer service, and loss prevention within a high-end retail environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, well-spoken, and experienced in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a strong, customer-focused security presence on the sales floor
• Monitor customer activity and deter theft, fraud, or suspicious behavior
• Support store staff and management with safety and security concerns
• Assist with access control, incident response, and daily reporting
• Maintain professional communication and exceptional customer service at all times
• Uphold the standards expected in a luxury retail environment

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SORA Guard Card
• Previous security experience, preferably luxury retail security
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible weekend/day/evening shifts
