DSI Security Services is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Suffern, NY. Be part of a diverse and inclusive workplace that values exceptional customer service and recognizes that its greatest asset is our employees.

Pay:

$18.54 /hour

Available Schedules: Full-Time

1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd shifts available

Security Officer Responsibilities:

Ensure a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors.
Monitor and report safety hazards; take proactive steps to promote safety.
Follow all DSI and client-specific policies and post instructions.
Participate in training and stay up to date with safety procedures and protocols.
Maintain a professional and courteous presence while interacting with the public.
Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in various weather conditions.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
Basic to intermediate computer proficiency.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Must be at least?18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation and communication.
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Drivers License
NY Guard Card
