We are seeking a diligent and professional Shopping Plaza Security Guard to join our security team to ensure the safety and security of our shopping plaza. The ideal candidate will possess a keen sense of vigilance and a strong commitment to upholding safety standards within the retail environment. This position requires the ability to monitor the premises, manage potential risks, and respond effectively to any incidents that may arise, ensuring a safe atmosphere for shoppers and employees alike. The Shopping Plaza Security Guard will also play an integral role in deterring theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities, as well as providing assistance to customers and tenants in need. A commitment to customer service and a proactive approach to security are essential for this role. By maintaining a visible presence and enforcing regulations, you will contribute to the overall peace of mind of all plaza visitors. Responsibilities:

• Monitor the shopping plaza premises to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized/ transient activity.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances within the plaza.
• Assist customers and tenants with inquiries, providing excellent customer service.
• Document and report any observed violations or incidents in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to ensure effective security operations.
• Enforce plaza policies and procedures consistently to maintain order and safety.
• Communication with Property Management when necessary. 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus.
• Active Guard Card
• Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Physical fitness to patrol the premises and intervene in emergencies if needed.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
