United Protective Services is looking for a reliable and sharp Overnight Vehicle Patrol Officer to join our growing patrol division. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working independently, staying alert, and helping protect commercial properties during quiet overnight hours.
If you prefer structured patrols, minimal daytime traffic, and a role where your attention to detail truly matters — this is the position for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Overnight Vehicle Patrol Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding property during the night.
Your responsibilities include:
-Conducting scheduled and unscheduled patrols in a marked security vehicle
-Inspecting parking lots, buildings, and key exterior areas
-Checking for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and property issues
-Taking photos and documenting findings when needed
-Completing clear and accurate digital reports after each patrol
-Performing lock-ups, lighting inspections, and perimeter checks
-Notifying management or law enforcement of serious incidents
-Maintaining a strong visible presence to deter criminal activity
This is an active, dynamic position — every night is different, and you’ll be trusted with maintaining the safety and security of multiple sites.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals who are responsible, observant, and comfortable operating a company vehicle throughout the night.
Required:
Must be 25 years of age or over with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record!
Strong observation and situational-awareness skills
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Professional appearance and communication
Reliability is a MUST for overnight work
Preferred (but not required):
Prior vehicle patrol experience
