Schedule:
• Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Monday & Tuesday: 7:00 PM – 3:00 AM
Requirements: Must have a valid NV driver’s license to operate company vehicles and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Position Overview
Flex Officers support company operations and guard service contracts by covering posts at multiple properties. Duties include filling in for special assignments, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts. Officers provide emergency response as needed, maintain safety and security, and represent C2S in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol assigned areas on foot to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety
• Monitor premises, identify and resolve security issues
• Complete reports (DARs, incident, maintenance) promptly and accurately
• Provide excellent customer service to guests, tenants, and client staff
• Ensure doors and restricted areas are properly secured
• Direct authorized personnel and visitors to appropriate locations
• Report hazards, spills, or malfunctioning equipment to supervisors or client representatives
• Respond to emergencies and act according to Post Orders
• Investigate suspicious behavior, question witnesses, and notify authorities if necessary
• Maintain custody of company-issued patrol phone; return and charge at end of shift
• Sign in/out within required timeframes
• Build positive relationships with clients, co-workers, and the public
• Maintain a professional atmosphere at all times
Skills & Abilities
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, lift up to 100 lbs., run, push, and pull
• Strong communication skills via radio, phone, and in person
• Attention to detail and alertness during all duties
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure
• Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism in routine and non-routine situations
• No use of personal entertainment devices while on duty; cell phones only for emergencies
Education & Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age: 25
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
• Valid NV Driver’s License
• Valid PILB Guard Card (must obtain if not already held)
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required
• Must maintain client approval
