Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Reading, PA

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:15am-5:15pm

Pay Rate: $17.51 per hour

About the Position:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in security and be comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle situations calmly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor premises and maintain a secure environment
• Stand post and conduct regular patrols as assigned
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or safety hazards
• Enforce site rules and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly

Requirements:

• Previous security experience required
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to pass background check
