Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Freedom, PA

Job Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Thursday and Friday 2pm-10pm

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview:
The Unarmed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property at a manufacturing facility. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to safety while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control access to the facility by monitoring entrances, exits, and authorized personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including production, storage, and exterior areas.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to company procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation.
• Provide assistance and information to employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous manner.
• Support safety and emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid if required.
• Collaborate with site management and other departments to ensure a secure and compliant environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in security, manufacturing, or industrial settings preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Physically able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.
