Prosegur Security is looking to fill multiple Unarmed Security Officers that are customer service driven for one of our Healthcare networks in the New Haven, CT area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world consisting of over 175,000 employees in over 34 countries. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization.


Shifts include:

-FT Position: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 10:30am - 5pm, Wednesday - 11am - 5pm & Saturday 5am - 1pm

• Hourly starting wage: $19

 Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to: 

• Follow established Hospital and Department standard precautions and procedures in the in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for everyone. 
• Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards. 
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions. 
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures. 
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. 
• This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills. 
• You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer. 
• Meet Hospital attendance and punctuality requirements to be on your assigned post on time to ensure proper coverage and quality services to patients, visitors and employees. 

Qualifications we are looking for: 

• • 18+ years of age? 
  • High School Diploma or GED required.? 
  • Must have a valid state guard license 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. 
  • Experience in Behavioral Health facilities.
  • Capable of following complex instructions? 
  • Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.? 
  • Excellent communication skills and good judgment 
  • Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations. 
  • Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks. 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
