Unarmed Security Officer needed in Greenville, OH

• PT/3rd Shift/Fri & Sat - $14.30/hr - Weekly pay

Role:

The Security Officer is accountable to ensure the safety and security of our client, their facilities, and their equipment within his/her area of responsibility. 

Responsibilities: 

• The Security Officer is to ensure they are familiar with, and comply, with Genric and the client's policies and procedures.
• Ensure possession of the necessary equipment to perform the role.
• Ensure all Time Sheets are accurately completed and submitted as per Genric’s policy.
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and legible manner:
• • Incident Reports
  • Statement forms
• Ensure all Genric Log sheets are completed correctly and any issues resolved.
• Conduct foot patrols of the facility perimeter, checking all fences, gates and doors for signs of forced and unauthorized entry.
• Ensure all barriers (fences, doors, gates) are secured, as required.
• Ensure all parking violations are reported to the Shift Supervisor.
• Respond to and monitor all alarms as directed.
• Ensure no unauthorized vehicles/pedestrians gain access to the client's property.
• Ensure vigilance and maintain an awareness of personnel banned from the client's property.
• Ensure all emergency procedures are followed and documented.
• Assist, as directed by the Site Supervisor or client's associates, in the event of an emergency situation.
• To suggest and implement any improvements in procedures.
• To highlight equipment deficiencies or potential improvements.
• To carry out other instructions as required.
