Job Overview:
The Armor Security Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of security personnel in the field, ensuring high-quality service, operational effectiveness, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of security protocols and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Leadership:
- Assign tasks and monitor personnel performance to ensure adherence to client expectations, company policies, and security protocols.
- Conduct regular field inspections and ensure security teams are providing quality, effective service.
- Provide coaching, training, and feedback to field personnel to improve performance and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for any field-related issues or escalations.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit detailed field operation reports to upper management, outlining key performance indicators (KPIs), incidents, and any security breaches.
- Maintain logs of daily activities, incidents, equipment status, and personnel performance.
- Document and address incidents of non-compliance or security concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
- Emergency Response:
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations, ensuring effective and efficient resolution.
- Lead crisis management efforts, coordinating with other team members and emergency services as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in security operations or a related field, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in managing field teams and overseeing operational logistics in a security environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess and resolve complex security issues quickly and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of security equipment, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
- Certifications:
- Valid security guard license
- Other security-related certifications (e.g., armed security certification, if applicable) are a plus.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in criminal justice, business management, or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions as required.
