This is a STANDING/WALKING post which requires you to be on your feet while on-duty. YOU MUST BE RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, MILITARY POLICE OR RETIRED CORRECTIONS (HR218 or LEOSA required).

The Armed Officer should display exceptional customer service and communication skills. Our officers maintain the ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently. This position requires proficient experience with writing and reading daily activity reports. As an Armed Officer you will:


  • Expected to maintain a commanding presence complemented by exceptional customer service skills.
  • Enforce Contract Standards.
  • Enforce employment guidelines.
  • Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards adhering to post orders.
  • Start of shift ensure that all store systems are functioning properly.
  • Conduct sensor sweeps periodically adhering to post orders.
  • Verify purchases at the door when required adhering to post orders.
  • Promptly identify and escalate any deficiencies or failures to Manager on duty.  
  • Capability to manage crisis situations at the client site in a calm, effective, and efficient manner is of the utmost importance.
  • Report Incidents; accordingly, adhering to post orders.
  • Assume all other responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LAW ENFORCEMENT EXPERIENCE (LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, MILITARY POLICE OR RETIRED CORRECTIONS)
  • MUST Possess a Maryland State Security License and HR218 or LEOSA
  • Must have applicable state and local license/permits to carry a concealed firearm.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process which includes background investigation and may include drug testing.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) and RFID systems is required.

Schedules times:

1st Shift:

  • Wednesday - Saturday (FT)(37.5 hours)
  • Sunday - Wednesday (FT)(37.5 hours)
