Security Officer Job Responsibilities:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
• Drives at the required speeds permitted to allow close observation and safety of residences, facilities, and parking lots
• Investigates & reports security breaches, open doors, incidents, and other alarming or suspicious activity to the shift supervisor.
• Enforces all rules and regulations required to ensure a safe environment.
• Tickets and facilitates towing of illegally parked vehicles, in accordance with the property's parking rules and regulations.
• Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements

Opportunities to move into full-time positions within 3-6 months! (Based on availability, performance, attendance, etc.)

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 year's security experience required.
• Minimum of 2 year vehicle patrol experience required.
• Flexible Schedule- Ability to pick up shifts as needed, especially night and weekends
• Must be able to drive/patrol/ use electric bike for up to 8 hours.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments.
• Ability to work inside and outside of designated community, with possible exposure to inclement weather conditions.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Active NJ SORA Security License
• Active TWIC License
• Active Driver's License + Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• CPR / AED Certification required
