A&H Security is looking for experienced Security Officers who have experience in managing families and single adults in a shelter or hotel setting. The ideal candidate should have an F02, preferably 3+ years experience as a Security Officer. The F02 Fire Guard plays a crucial role in ensuring fire watch and safety of building and occupants in various establishments across New York City. They are responsible for monitoring designated areas, identifying potential fire hazards, and taking immediate action to prevent emergencies.

Qualifications:

 

Valid F02 Fire Guard certificate issued by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) preferred, mandatory on hire.
Security guard license.
Mandated Reporter if assigned to a family shelter and this can be obtained online for free from an accredited state website.

Strong understanding of fire safety principles and regulations.
ability to direct and control crowd in an indoor setting.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols and procedures accurately.

Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies as needed.
