Prosegur Security is looking for a Full-Time Armed Security Shift Supervisor in the Prosegur area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between Security Officers and the Site Manager. They will supervise site staff and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Hourly starting wage: $26.00 per hour

Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm
Schedule: 10:00pm-6:00am
Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned Security Officers to include post duties, weekly schedules, time off requests,
- Supervise the site operations under the guidance and support of the site manager.
- Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
- Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.
- Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).
- Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.
- Ensures site safety programs and policies are adhered to properly.
- Display the highest levels of customer service and communication skills to all stakeholders.
- Reports directly to Site Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities may Include:
- Must have an active NC PPSB Armed Security License
- MUST possess either a 9mm or 40cal semi-automatic firearm, 3 magazines, and at least a level 2 retention holster.
- MUST be able to score 80% or higher on the NC PPSB armed guard qualification.
  - CCTV.
  - Access Control.
  - Fire System Operation.
  - Security patrol tours of property.
  - Hold-Up Security System Operation.
  - Dealing with unwanted/hostile individuals
  - Can calmly and effectively handle crisis situations at the site.
  - Additional shift/post inspections and visits as needed.
  - Weekly operational meeting with Site Manager.
  - Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test, may be required to pass Drivers Record check.
Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.
Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
Help patrol our client’s facilities and prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or other infractions before they occur. Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property.
The Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer.
The Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between the Sergeant, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and corrective discipline.

PPSB Security License
