This pivotal role is essential to driving our financial health and operational efficiency, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.  The ideal candidate will have experience in the security or similar service-oriented industry and understands the unique cost structure, revenue streams and financial challenges of a security firm.

• Leadership and Management: Manage the accounting team and all accounting/financials, ensuring excellence in accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, contract risks, market volatility, credit risks and inventory management.
• Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare monthly financials, assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analyses for projecting revenues from contracts, managing payroll expenses and predicting maintenance and upgrade costs for equipment and technology.
• Cost Control:  Manage operational costs and strategic decision-making to optimize staffing levels to satisfy client needs without compromising service quality.
• Strategic Initiatives: Engage in various strategic planning and initiatives by providing insights into financial implications of business decisions and helping to identify growth opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Regulatory and Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements specific to the security industry, including financial reporting standards, labor laws, licensing requirements, and data protection. Recommend benchmarks to measure company operations' performance.

Qualifications

• Ten years or more of related experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree In Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Excellent management and organization skills
