MTAC is actively recruiting for part-time Unarmed security officers in the Hagerstown, MD area. Compensation will start at $18/hour, with opportunities for advancement. Applicants must meet the below qualifications and requirements to considered for any position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities May Include
- Facility patrols
- Assisting employees and visitors
- Responding to alarms
- Report writing
- Adherence to all applicable rules and regulations
- Perform duties in a professional manner
- Maintain situational awareness
Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands
- May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area
- Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift, run as needed
- Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
- Frequent moving and/or lifting
Minimum Qualifications
- United States citizenship
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card
- Reliable method of transportation
- Eligible for Maryland Security Guard Card
- Pass drug screening and background investigation
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn security operations and procedures
- Ability to read and write the English language fluently
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Ability to adapt to changes in the environment and organization
