As a security officer with Genric, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our client's property and personnel, as well as your co-workers. We promote within. TWIC card holders are urged to apply!
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess High School diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards
- Possess knowledge of Investigations
- Possess knowledge of Report writing
- Possess knowledge of Incident management
- Possess at least two years of security and two years of supervisory experience
Job Description:
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports
- Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner
- Possess intermediate computer skills
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Ability to follow established security protocols, while using initiative and good judgement
Schedule:
- There are several positions and shifts open
- This position could require overtime
- This is a 24/7 operation and holidays are scheduled
