      The duties of this position involve monitoring a wide range of global events, including acts of terrorism, severe weather, environmental concerns, assets, and reputation. It is essential to identify any events that may impact the company's interests, personnel, assets, and reputation, and promptly notify the appropriate stakeholders for a timely response. Additionally, supporting any Emergency Response Incident or Crisis Management is crucial. This role also involves assisting Global Travelers in need, monitoring CCTV and alarms remotely, providing access control, and monitoring Maritime High-Risk Areas involving the company fleet. These responsibilities require a high level of vigilance and attention to detail.

       As part of your responsibilities, it is imperative to maintain visibility in order to ensure safety and deter any unacceptable activities. This includes compiling and disseminating various reports as needed. It is also crucial to liaise with local law enforcement and other first responders when necessary, as well as with Regional/Country/Local Security Management and Correspondents. In addition, you must be prepared to initiate mass communications when required and understand and comply with both DSI and Client requirements. It is essential to have a good understanding of and adhere to DSI's Code of Ethics and Employee Standard. Furthermore, participating in training and familiarizing yourself with general safety procedures, as well as DSI's safety manual, is essential. Continuing to attend security officer training as required by the Client or DSI's training program is also a key aspect of your role. Lastly, presenting oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct is of utmost importance.

Position Requirements:

      Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license is required, as well as a Level 2 Non Comm License issued by TXDPS PSB. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience as an Operator within the military, law enforcement, EMA/Crisis Management, or Security Industries. Knowledge of communication systems, CCTV, alarm systems, electronic access control systems, and world geography is required. Multi-linguistic abilities are preferred but not necessary. Candidates must have reliable transportation and communication, pass background and drug screenings, and be customer service oriented. Basic to intermediate computer skills and effective written and oral communication skills are also necessary. The ability to perform routine foot patrol and do moderate lifting is essential.
