Dispensary Armed Security Officer Job Responsibilities: 

• Escort employees, vendors, contractors, & other visitors throughout premises as needed
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
• Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures as needed.
• Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Maintain traffic flow in parking areas

Work Hours 

We have part-time opportunities available

Must be flexible for weekends or rotating schedules. 

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Can always stay alert
• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 3 years armed security experience or 1 year law enforcement experience
• NJ SORA Red CARD
• NJ Un-Restricted State Carry Permit
• Level 3 Holster / Duty Belt
