Look no further because we are currently seeking a Full-Time Retail Security SUPERVISOR to join our growing USI team in CAMBRIDGE, MA!

 

$22/HOUR

Wednesday - Sunday: 3pm-11pm

 

Responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Patrols assigned areas by foot or vehicle to check for fires, vandalism, suspicious activity or persons or safety/fire hazards.
  • Investigates and/or reports hazards, unusual or suspicious circumstances to supervisors for correction or follow-up actions.
  • Checks doors of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in written log any unlocked doors; submits information to supervisor.
  • Observes activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce rules/regulations; alerts visitors of infractions.
  • Assists any persons in building or on grounds needing directions or information.
  • Escorts people/property to desired destination when monies, documents or safety of property or persons are a concern.
  • Responds to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations. 
  • May assist law enforcement officers with crowd control and surveillance at large public events.

Skills:

  • Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent level of customer service
  • Ability to observe and report
  • Ability to problem solve/make decisions
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

Requirements:

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Driver's License/clean driving record
  • 2-3 years of Security Supervisory experience
  • Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings
