Position Title: project Manager
Compensation: $70,000 per annum

Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Operations, this is a leadership function charged with providing oversight of security operations and leadership to security personnel assigned to a countywide security program. The standard duty hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday with requirements for immediate accessibility and availability during off hours, as situation dictates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Have 1 yr. previous security, law enforcement or related military experience;
- Have the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English;
- Have a High School Diploma or GED;
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age;
- Be a US citizen, legal resident alien, or non-resident authorized to work in the US, verification of which in accordance with the Immigration Reform Act of 1996 and completion of Form I-9;
- Must be in good health have ability to work alone, endure long periods of standing, walking, or climbing stairs while patrolling inside and outside in all types of weather conditions;
- Must have ability to understand and carry out detailed oral or written post instructions;
- Must have the ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress;
- Must have ability to analyze situations quickly and objectively determine a proper course of action to resolve the situation in a firm, courteous and professional manner;
- Must present a professional appearance and wear the approved uniform while on duty;
- Have a valid driving license and a good driving record to operate a motor vehicle for patrol;
- Have no criminal convictions;
- Have the ability to work outdoors in harsh and extreme weather conditions;
- The minimum County requirements do not preclude the Contractor from applying any other terms or conditions of hire or continued employment to his/her employees, as long as those procedures comply with Federal, State and County laws;
- In addition to the requirements listed above, the Project Manager must have a minimum of 7 years Security, Law Enforcement or Military supervisor experience and no less than 10 years security experience.
principal duties and accountabilities:
- Project Manager whose responsibility will be the administration of this Contract.
- The Project Manager must not be assigned to the management of any other contract, even other County contracts.
- This person must act as a liaison between the County and the Contractor with all aspects of scheduling, report requirements, personnel administration, and supervision and management of all day to day operations.
- Attendance at periodic Security Committee Meetings held by various County agencies will also be required of this supervisor.
- The Project Manager must be able to work at least 40 hrs per week (Schedule subject to change and approval by the Contract Administrator), have reliable transportation.
- The Project Manager or Contract Representative must be available at all times for emergency contact and emergency or immediate response at the Contract Administrator’s request.
