Position Title: ARMED CONTRACT SECURITY GUARD

Reports to: CHIEF OF GUARDS

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Chief of Guards, the Contract Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of the facility, occupants and guests.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate shall have at least five (3) years armed security experience preferably on a government worksite.
• Candidate must have extensive, verifiable, physical security-related experience; preferably in a 24/7 operation.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and follow Post Orders, along with policies and procedures, that impact business results.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check (Suitability or Secret Clearance).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (writing sample may be required).
• Ability to carry out assigned duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays as requested or required.
• Position requires a personable individual who is capable of professionally relating to individuals at all levels and from all backgrounds.
• Ability to learn multiple systems and processes in a brief period, and demonstrate productivity.
• Ability to follow directions and perform multiple tasks under pressure.
• Must maintain firearms qualifications and licensing.
