Maximum Protective Services is a Physical Security company providing Security and Investigative Services throughout the Maryland and DC areas.

We are currently seeking several Armed Security Guards to join our team!

• Reliable; most sites are 24/7 and will require you to work holidays

Responsibilities:

• Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
• Performing access control procedures on vehicles, personnel, and visitors.
• Patrolling the buildings, facilities, and perimeters of the premises.
• Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance.
• Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems.
• Investigating suspicious activities and disturbances.
• Immediately reporting security breaches to designated law enforcement agents.
• Performing maintenance checks on security systems and equipment.
• Documenting observations and surveillance activities.
• Adhering to security industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have MD Handgun Permit
• Must have complete duty belt
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc
• At least 18 years of age (25 if driving; required by insurance)
• Must have at least 6 months of relevant security experience
• Should have or have the ability to obtain MD state Security Guard card
• Must be a US Citizen
