Job Overview
The Flex/Rover Officer will work closely with the Scheduler and Field Supervisors to help fill in when employees go on vacation or have last minute call offs. The Flex/Rover officer must have reliable transportation, at least 2 years experience in a high rise commercial building and be willing to work when called upon. As a Flex Officer you will be responsible for the professional operation, administration, and quality assurance of your site.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Visitor and guest access control at commercial locations
- Observes and reports activities, prepares logs and reports as required by each site.
- Acts as a receptionist for a client facility, welcomes on site visitors, determines nature of business.
- Fire Life Safety protocols and fire panel administration.
- Must have the ability to make tough decisions quickly and efficiently in emergency situations.
- Availability to answer calls, have a friendly attitude and solve issues during their shift.
- Always wear appropriate and professional uniform attire while on duty
- Conduct routine patrols set forth by Post Commander and Management.
- Respond to alarms and distress calls and perform checks in areas of concern
- Manage activity being submitted unto patrol software and report to Post Commander about said activity.
- Write and submit daily security reports.
- Ensure that all unauthorized personnel are not granted access to the premises.
- Greeted and acknowledged all employees, contractors, vendors and guests.
- Secured the premises by monitoring cctv, perform patrols and controlling the access to units within the building.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of Class A Commercial High Rise Experience
- Must have at least 1 year supervisory experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service to clients
- Ability to effectively communicate with direct reports, potential employees, upper management, and clients
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentially
- Knowledge of corporate professionalism and e-mail etiquette
- Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
- Valid CA Guard Card
