Position:  Account Manager

Salary: $45,700

The Account Manager is the senior on-site manager responsible for direct and day-to-day client contact.  He or she is responsible for the recruiting and onboarding of personnel, ensuring all documentation is completed for each officer, and efficient scheduling of officers and assets for the site they manage. Most importantly, he or she is responsible for the proper and efficient security operations at an assigned client location.  He or she must have expertise with leadership and management of security personnel, scheduling software, & MS Office and communications. The security industry operates on a short notice basis, and personnel need to accept that pace and need for rapid turn-around of schedules which may involves work over weekends.

 


Responsibilities include:

  • guidance and support of personnel including recruitment, training, corrective actions, and adherence to company policy.
  • professional operation, administration, and quality assurance of operational services within EKG’s Commercial Division at the assigned site.
  • prepare appropriate management information reports (e.g., weekly schedules for clients, EKG supervisors and officers; audits of client security schedules and EKG timesheets; assisting EKG supervisors with fill-in officers & replacement officers; and any operations related reports)
  • monitor all personnel, understand, and comply with, all applicable EEOC, wage and hour, and other laws governing employment or contracts.
  • review EKG policy to assist with ensuring the Commercial Division adheres to applicable laws.
  • oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training systems for security officers and supervisors.
  • assist in ensuring approved standard operating procedures (standing site orders) that are aligned with defined client guidelines are maintained.
  • be the primary point of contact for officer scheduling and assignments.
  • communicate with EKG executive management and office personnel to ensure they are apprised of all noteworthy items within his/her responsibility.
  • relay messages to proper EKG contact when received from company phone or messaging system.
  • develop relationships with clients to proper communications and ensure management is kept appraised of relationships and impacts on business and operations.
  • always present a professional appearance, performance and demeanor.
  • other tasks as management will assign from a time to time basis.

 

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • A High School Diploma
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have Class D guard license 

 

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • A minimum of four (4) years of leadership, computer and scheduling experience.
  • Prior WinTeam experience preferred
  • Working Knowledge of Access and CCTV
  • Work history must include demonstrated strong consultative, analytical, HR, and security operations skills.
  • Scheduling or dispatching using cloud-based software
  • Must have meaningful and verifiable work history

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States.
  • Must not use illegal drugs.
  • Be prepared to market and sell EKG Security, Inc services to prospective clients.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
  • Typically interacts with:
    • Office Personnel – CEO, Administrative Officer, Officer Manager, and others.
    • Scheduling – Client = Property Manager, HSE Manager or other client representatives, EKG = Supervisors and Officers

 

Physical Requirements and Environment
  • Environment:  Office and vehicle; minimal to no work in extreme temperatures is expected
  • Major activity: Working on computer while sitting; standing; speaking; walking; listening.  Driving to visit client locations and train personnel.
  • Physical efforts to carry out job duties:  Limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting, and limited stretching and reaching
