As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working.  This opening is at a manufacturing facility. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to

• Access Control - Ensuring any visitors to the site are allowed to enter the property.
• Vehicle and/or Foot Patrol - May patrol areas in a vehicle or may walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Customer Servce - Will provide a friendly, personable demeanor to any visitor that comes to the facility

Possible Shift Times:

• • Saturday/Sunday
    • 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:00PM)

Depending on your availability we can offer a Part-Time (0-29 hours / week) position.

• Pay Rate $17.50 per hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases)

LOCATION: Allendale, MI

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Must be willing to become CPR/1^st Aide/AED Certified
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
  • No other major violations in the last 3 years.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
