You hold a valid AB Security license or are willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security

You’ll be a First Responder
You are the first call made for any shift that becomes available!
The expectations are that you are available for the shift when called
Receive full healthcare compensation when deployed for shift
As this is a responder position, you will be getting your site deployment the day before or day of
You will be given priority to be moved into fulltime roles within Lethbridge Healthcare sites
Great learning possibilities and internal growth
You will also be required to support the core team in the south zone when needed!

A day in the life of a Healthcare Security Guard:

While your general duties will vary based on your worksite, you can expect to perform the following tasks in this role:

Provide access control in/out of the facility and within restricted areas.
Monitor and respond to incidents identified around property, including on cameras.
Conduct patrols of the facility, monitoring for risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and general security breaches.
Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
Investigate and report any irregularities identified throughout your duties.
Monitor patient safety, documenting and reporting incidents as required.
