Position Responsibilities:

• Greeter and being the  first point-of-contact for students, visitors and staff.
• Assist with directions, Campus information, and creating a positive experience. 
• Provide support for anyone coming into the Campus.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Campus.
• Ensure the Safety and Security of the Campus. 
• Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of the Campus to create a safe and positive enviroment.
• Ensure security and safety briefings in the begining and the end of the shift.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Walk the property looking for any security or safety hazards.  Notify the appropriate staff.
• De-escalate and help resolve conflicts and promote positive solutions.
• Contact the proper authorities to address health and safety issues, including the police, fire, and medical departments as well as the Security Manager.
• Write up incident reports and inform the Security Manager of all incidents.
• Look for any signs of vandalism and notify the appropriate groups.
• Assist with fire drills, audit preparation, and emergency evacuation plans.
• Maintain daily intake log of all activities during shift.
• Continued training requirements (ongoing training)
• Review passdown logs for all changes, concerns, and/or problems from the prior shift.
• Answer and route all incoming calls/requests.
• Conduct hourly security rounds of the buildings, including securing doors, windows, gates, etc.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
