Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership for subordinates.
Train and assist subordinates.
Make sure each officer is on site and performing properly.
General Duties:
Ensure the presence of Security Officers on post.
Inspect officers and conditions on post.
Disburse required equipment and reporting forms to officers on post and pick up as needed.
Review reports submitted by security officers.
Train personnel in-site specific duties and responsibilities.
Conduct site and officer evaluations.
Ensure that post orders are on the site and available for assigned officer.
Review timesheets logs and other paperwork for accuracy and condition and pickup client's documents as directed.
Ensure that the on duty officer records and reports all emergencies.
Provide W/C information necessary to update the company's guard monitoring system
Complete activity reports as required.
Complete vehicle inspection report.
Complete City of Chicago Remote Vehicular Supervisory Activity Report.
Inspect security officer checkpoints and or patrol logs
Follow daily instructions as given by W/C or higher authority.
Brief relieving supervisor of occurrences during shift (i.e. there was a flood at 2110 W. Deal St.)
Ensure that site vehicles being used for shelter, mobile patrols and company vehicle you are driving are gassed up and functioning properly.
Relieve officers for duty.
Disseminate company notices such as uniform inspection notification, training class notice, and promote the same.
Qualifications:
-Must be least at 25 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree (preferred)
-Law Enforcement or Military experience (preferred)
- Minimum of 20 hours State Certification Training
-Minimum of 3 years experience of supervising security officers- Permanent Employment Registration Card (blue card)
- Valid Driver's License with good driving history
- Social Security Card - Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- 20 hour armed training certificate (preferred)
- Valid Firearms Owner's Identification Card FOID (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a timely manner any changes or recommendations that could have impact on our service image or brand
- Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment and to solve problems with a sense of urgency
