Training will for the security guard card will cover:
- 8 hour guard card
- Weapons of mass destruction
- OC/pepper spray usage
- Baton utilization
- Other security training
Once you have completed your Security Officer training, the job will included the following:
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Conduct routine access patrols to ensure that only authorized personnel enter the construction site.
- Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access.
- Monitor access points and enforce site-specific security protocols.
Walk the jobsite:
- Perform regular walks around the job site to detect and address any security concerns.
- Inspect fencing, gates, and other physical barriers to identify vulnerabilities or damage.
- Collaborate with construction site management to address security issues promptly.
- Checkpoint Detection System:
- Utilize a detection system at all designated checkpoints, including parking entrances and mission-critical areas.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the detection equipment and promptly report any malfunctions.
Observation and Reporting:
- Maintain constant vigilance and attentiveness to observe and report any suspicious activities or individuals.
- Document and report incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences promptly and accurately.
- Communicate effectively with the central security control room and other relevant personnel.
Patrolling:
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site, paying special attention to high-risk areas.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to coordinate patrolling efforts and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Respond promptly to alarms or distress calls and take appropriate action.
- Emergency Response:
- Assist in emergency situations, including fire drills, evacuations, and other safety-related incidents.
