We are looking for Uniformed Security Officers to be a part of our Travel Team. We are looking for candidates who can work in a team environment.

You will travel from Vancouver/Portland to Salem Transit Station. Scheduling will be as needed, day and night shifts (0545-1345 & 1330-2330) weekend schedules (Sun- 0745-1445 & 1400-2030. Sat- 0615-1400 & 1345-2130) Travel time will be compensated and carpool options may be available. Job Responsibilities:

• Security patrols of designated areas in vehicle and on foot
• Perform patrol checks at varying locations within assigned patrol route
• Maintain site security, and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities
• Build and maintain positive relationships within the community, protect the well-established reputation of Salem Transit
• Display a professional demeanor, appearance, integrity, with attention to detail
• Carry defensive tools after training and certification
• Assist first responders when appropriate
• Additional duties as assigned

Job Specific Benefits:

• Wage: $21.00 per hour

Job Requirements:

• MUST HAVE a minimum 1 year in security, military, law enforcement or corrections

• Meet all PPC hiring requirements
• Must complete the following internal training: Defensive tactics, Handcuffing, Baton and OC
• CPR/First Aid
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule with minimal scheduling restrictions
• Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook (can be learned)
