Looking to have fun and make money at the same? Apply with us for our event security team. We are looking for individuals to add to our team for full time and part time events throughout the region. Events include weddings, festivals, quinceañeras, concerts, and private parties.
Security Officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, act as a visual detourant for prevention of criminal activity, and enforcement of laws and ordinances. Guards must have good documentation skills to record activities and incidents occuring during their assignment.
This is an ideal position for anyone who is looking to work as needed a few shifts a month. Special event assignments vary from event to event, but will be scheduled at least 14 days in advance. Special Event Guards will be able to view the open events and select assignments that fit their schedule.
All candidates must be able to make good judgement decisions and present well to the public. All candidates must have reliable transportation and a reliable communication device. All candidates must be able to meet specific requirements, pass a drug test (including THC), and possess a clean DMV record (if selected for an assignment where driving is required).
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY - After passing prehire contingencies, we will provide all necessary training to become a security guard.
Wage Scale: $16.04 - $20.39, must pass Chemical Agent course within 3 months of hire. All special events earn premium pay rates.
Wage scale is dependent upon training and licensure/certifications. Wages above increase with the following qualifications:
BSIS Firearm Permit
BSIS Baton Permit
BSIS Taser Certification
BSIS Chemical Agent Certification
American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Certification
Required:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old
Must have H.S. Diploma/GED
Must be legally authroized to work in the United States
Must have valid Driver's License or state issued I.D.
Must have reliable transportation
Must pass a drug test, including TCH
Must pass a DOJ/FBI Fingerprint Live Scan.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for majority of assigned shifts.
Must be able to physically control hostile subjects, including restraining in handcuffs, if/when required.
Must be able to lift objects up to 25 lbs. in a safe manner on occasion.
Must be able to safely retain any weapons on person against potential assailants who may try to take them from the guard.

In addition to hourly wage, we pay all employees a TAX FREE hourly cell phone reimbursement and weekly reimbursement for use of any employee owned equipment. We offer equipment purchasing programs to help purchase duty weapons, as well as additional training opportunities.
