Allstate Security is hiring armed and unarmed Event Security Officers for temporary assignments at concerts and other events throughout San Diego County. We are looking for dependable officers who combine strong customer service, calm communication, and attention to detail. A black suit is required for both armed and unarmed assignments.

Pay, Location & Schedule

• Pay range: $22.00–$28.00 per hour. The rate for each assignment will be confirmed before the shift.
• Opportunities: Armed concealed-carry and unarmed event security assignments.
• Position type: Temporary / Seasonal.
• Location: Assigned events throughout San Diego County.
• Schedule: Varies by event and may include daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Exact dates and times will be confirmed for each assignment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide clear, courteous directions and assistance.
• Conduct bag checks according to event procedures and post orders.
• Support crowd management and orderly movement through assigned areas.
• Provide VIP escort assistance when assigned.
• Maintain a professional security presence and follow contract standards.
• Remain aware of event-specific safety hazards and report concerns promptly.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with event coordinators, supervisors, and the security team.
• Support fellow officers through professional teamwork and clear communication.

Requirements for All Applicants

• Active California BSIS Guard Card, subject to verification.
• Black suit required; maintain a polished, professional appearance.
• Flexible availability for varying event schedules and reliable transportation to assigned locations.
• Strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for instructions, reporting, and guest communication.
• Ability to complete required drug and criminal background screenings.

Armed Concealed-Carry Assignments

• Valid concealed-carry authorization applicable to the assignment and all required BSIS firearms credentials, subject to verification before assignment.
• Follow company firearm policies, permit restrictions, and assignment-specific instructions.
• Armed assignments must be approved by the operations team before the shift.

Unarmed Assignments

Applicants seeking unarmed assignments are welcome. Concealed-carry and firearm credentials are not required for unarmed positions.

Operational Expectations

• Arrive on time, in the required black suit, and ready for each accepted assignment.
• Follow event instructions, post orders, and company guidelines.
• Stay attentive and handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Additional Skills
