About the Role

As a Flex Security Officer with Prosegur, you will play an important role in maintaining safe and secure environments across multiple client locations. This position provides flexible security coverage to support staffing needs, employee absences, special assignments, and changing operational demands.

Flex Security Officers must be adaptable, dependable, and comfortable working at different locations, schedules, and assignments. Responsibilities may vary by site and include conducting patrols, controlling access, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and providing professional customer service.

The ideal candidate is reliable, resourceful, and able to quickly learn new environments and procedures. Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently are essential to success in this role.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide security coverage at multiple client locations based on operational and staffing needs.
• Maintain a visible security presence to protect employees, visitors, facilities, and client assets.
• Conduct routine patrols and security inspections to identify suspicious activity, safety hazards, and potential security concerns.
• Control access to assigned facilities by verifying identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and enforcing visitor procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Quickly learn and follow site-specific post orders, security procedures, and client requirements.
• Monitor surveillance systems, alarm panels, and other security equipment as assigned.
• Observe, document, and report incidents, unusual activity, and safety concerns through accurate written reports.
• Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with employees, visitors, supervisors, and client representatives.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Adapt to changing assignments, work environments, and schedules while maintaining consistent security standards.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, incident escalation, and coordination with emergency responders.
• Complete required training and maintain applicable security licenses and certifications.

Experience & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must possess and maintain all required state-issued security officer licenses, registrations, or certifications, as applicable.
• Previous security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple client locations and adapt quickly to different environments and security procedures.
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and short-notice assignments.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned client locations.
• Knowledge of basic security procedures, emergency response protocols, and conflict de-escalation techniques.
• Strong communication, observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic reports and documentation.
• Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work independently and follow established security procedures and instructions.
• Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening and other employment requirements.
