We are seeking a professional security officer to join our team at an upscale cultural center in Houston. The ideal candidate will provide a polished, welcoming presence while maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, public areas, galleries, event spaces, and restricted areas.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access-control systems as assigned.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Assist guests and visitors with directions and general information.
• Conduct routine patrols and assist with special events.
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Enforce facility policies and security procedures.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.

Qualifications:

• Previous security experience required.
• Experience in a cultural center, museum, upscale facility, hotel, or similar environment preferred.
• Valid Texas security license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Schedule:

Friday: 3:30pm-9:30pm

Saturday 3:30pm -9:30pm

Sunday 7:30am – 4:30pm
