Job Description

Position: Concierge Security Officer

Location: Downtown Austin, Texas

Schedule: Saturday–Wednesday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM

Shift: Overnight

Reports To: Site Supervisor / Account Manager

Concierge Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional, highly visible, and customer-service-oriented security presence at a Downtown Austin property. The officer will assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, guests, employees, vendors, and visitors while protecting the client's property and assets.

Key Duties

• Monitor entrances, exits, common areas, and designated security areas.
• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, disturbances, and safety concerns.
• Greet and assist residents, guests, employees, and visitors professionally.
• Verify visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries as required.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Monitor cameras and access-control systems when assigned.
• Complete daily activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports.
• Communicate security concerns promptly to supervisors and client representatives.
• Follow all company policies, client directives, and site post orders.
• Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance.
• Remain awake, alert, attentive, and professional throughout the entire shift.

Qualifications

• Security or customer-service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and observation skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to remain professional during difficult situations.
• Must meet applicable Texas security licensing requirements.
