The Concierge Security Officer is responsible for providing a professional, visible, and customer service oriented security presence at a downtown Austin property. The officer will protect the client’s property, employees, guests, and assets while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

This position requires an officer who is alert, dependable, professional, courteous, and capable of exercising sound judgment while working overnight hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests, tenants, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide basic information and directions to guests while maintaining appropriate security protocols.
• Assist with building access and visitor management procedures.
• Verify visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with property procedures.
• Maintain a professional concierge presence at the designated lobby or security post.
• Maintain a highly visible security presence throughout the property.
• Monitor building entrances, exits, common areas, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Conduct scheduled interior and exterior patrols as directed by site post orders.
• Check doors, gates, access points, and restricted areas to ensure they are properly secured.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or security concerns.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and other security-related incidents.
