Schedule:
- Full-Time: Wednesday – Sunday | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM | 40 hours per week
- Part-Time: Saturday – Tuesday | 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM | 32 hours per week
- Flex Officer: Schedule varies based on call-offs, vacations, and other coverage needs across all shifts.
Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
Position Overview:
Allstate Security Services is hiring professional Security Officers for a private residential HOA community in Corona, CA. This position combines access control, customer service, and vehicle patrol operations, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, safety, and resident interaction.
Officers will serve as a visible security presence throughout the community, monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and assist residents, guests, and vendors. Flex Officers will provide additional coverage for call-offs, vacations, and other staffing needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
Access Control / Main Gate Duties:
- Staff the main entrance gate during assigned shifts
- Monitor residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries entering and exiting the community
- Maintain accurate visitor and access logs
- Monitor entry points and access systems
- Report suspicious activity or unauthorized access
- Provide professional customer service to residents and visitors
Vehicle & Foot Patrol Operations:
- Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols throughout the HOA community
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Monitor community roads, common areas, parking areas, and access points
- Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or HOA violations
- Utilize company patrol vehicles and communication equipment when assigned
Inspection & Security Checks:
- Conduct routine security checks of community areas
- Ensure gates, doors, and restricted areas are properly secured
- Identify safety or security concerns during patrols
- Document findings with reports and photos when necessary
Emergency Response:
- Respond professionally to emergencies, disturbances, suspicious persons, and other security incidents
- Contact emergency services when required
- Assist residents and first responders as appropriate
- Secure incident areas when necessary
- Complete detailed incident reports
Reporting & Documentation:
- Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
- Maintain accurate visitor, patrol, and incident logs
- Document suspicious activity, safety concerns, and HOA violations
- Submit reports at the end of each assigned shift
- Utilize digital reporting systems and mobile applications as required
Customer Service Expectations:
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
- Provide assistance and directions to residents, guests, and vendors
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Handle resident concerns calmly and respectfully
- Maintain a professional appearance while on duty
Requirements:
- Active BSIS Guard Card
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Comfortable using mobile reporting applications
- Previous security experience preferred
