Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Flex / On-Call (No Guaranteed Hours)
The Prosegur Rapid Response Team (RRT) is an elite group of security professionals who provide immediate operational support across the San Antonio market. Rapid Response Team Officers are deployed to assist with emergency staffing needs, critical incidents, new account startups, special events, client requests, emergency coverage, and other operational assignments as directed by management.
This position is designed for highly dependable, adaptable officers who can respond to changing operational needs with little notice. There are no guaranteed hours or a guaranteed schedule. Officers must maintain a flexible availability and be prepared to deploy to various client locations throughout the San Antonio area when requested.
Duties and Responsibilities
(Include but are not limited to)
- Respond to staffing requests and operational deployments at various client locations throughout the San Antonio market.
- Provide emergency security coverage for call-offs, vacancies, special events, client emergencies, and new account deployments.
- Perform access control duties by verifying credentials, monitoring entrances, and enforcing client access procedures.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols of assigned properties to identify security, safety, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security technology when assigned.
- Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, fires, and other security-related events.
- Prepare accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent Prosegur positively at all client locations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, employees, contractors, visitors, and the general public.
- Follow all client post orders, company policies, and state licensing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, dispatch, and client representatives regarding operational issues.
- Adapt quickly to different assignments, work environments, client expectations, and security procedures.
Availability Expectations
- Must maintain flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require.
- Must be willing and able to respond to assignments with short notice.
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout the San Antonio metropolitan area.
- Hours are based entirely on operational demand and client needs. This position does not guarantee a minimum number of work hours.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Texas Level II (Non-Commissioned) Security License required.
- Previous security, military, law enforcement, emergency response, or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, report writing, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations.
- Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred).
- Must successfully pass all required background screenings and drug testing.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to patrol large facilities, including stairs and outdoor areas.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to respond quickly during emergencies.
