Flex Security Officer – Unarmed

Location: Columbus, NE

Pay Rate: $15.96 per hour

Availability: Must be available for 1st & 2nd shifts

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM

Position Overview

The Flex Security Officer provides professional security and customer service at various assigned locations and posts. Flex Officers must be adaptable and willing to work different posts, schedules, and assignments based on client and company needs.

Essential Duties

• Provide security services through observation, patrols, access control, and reporting.
• Follow site-specific post orders, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor facilities, entrances, truck yards, and other assigned areas.
• Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols as assigned.
• Monitor and document incoming and outgoing traffic and deliveries.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, security concerns, accidents, and unusual conditions.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and security incidents.
• Complete accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and detailed incident reports.
• Provide professional customer service and assistance to employees, visitors, and clients.
• Fill open posts and provide coverage at different locations as directed by management.
• Participate in required company and site-specific training.
• Maintain professional appearance, attendance, and conduct standards.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, observant, and able to adapt quickly to changing assignments. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, communicating effectively, following detailed procedures, and providing excellent customer service.

Flexibility is essential. Officers may be assigned to different posts, locations, shifts, and duties based on operational needs.
