Act 235 Armed Security Officer

Location: Johnstown, PA

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-Time | 16 Hours Per Week

Friday and Saturday 8:15am - 4:30pm

We are currently seeking a dedicated Act 235 Armed Security Officer. This part-time position offers a consistent weekend schedule and steady hours. If you take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing exceptional professionalism, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property
• Monitor access points and control authorized entry and exit
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, and policy violations
• Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and incidents
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, contractors, and emergency personnel

Qualifications

• Prior security experience is preferred but not required
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Act 235 Armed Certification
• Ability to successfully pass a background investigation
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location
