Day Shift Security Officer – Luxury Apartment Building

Mid-Wilshire / Los Angeles | $20.00 per hourSchedule: Wednesday – Sunday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Guard-Systems, Inc. is hiring a Day Shift Security Officer for a luxury apartment building.

This position is ideal for an experienced officer who understands how to provide strong security while delivering high-level customer service in a residential setting. This building is home to many unique personalities, influencers, and high-profile residents, so we are looking for someone who is professional, polished, calm under pressure, and confident in their communication.

This is not a post for someone who is overly rigid or easily flustered. We need an officer with a solid security background who can interact respectfully with residents, guests, vendors, and building staff while maintaining awareness, professionalism, and control of the property.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Greet and assist residents, guests, and vendors
• Monitor building activity and report concerns appropriately
• Help maintain order in a luxury residential environment
• Provide excellent customer service while enforcing property rules
• Conduct patrols and remain alert throughout the shift
• Communicate clearly with management and onsite staff
• Complete reports and document incidents as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Guard Card required
• At least 5 years of security experience required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional demeanor and polished appearance
• Comfortable working with a wide range of personalities
• Able to remain calm, courteous, and firm when needed
• Experience in residential, concierge, or luxury property security is a plus
