Unarmed Security Officer: North Kingstown, RI

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Saturday & Sunday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Monday & Tuesday: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer for a lobby/reception security position. This role combines security operations with front desk and access control responsibilities in a professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor lobby and control facility access
• Sign in visitors and contractors
• Issue temporary and permanent access badges
• Monitor CCTV systems and retrieve footage as needed
• Respond to parking gate intercom calls
• Maintain key control and security logs
• Write detailed incident and activity reports
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior security experience preferred
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
