Unarmed High-Rise Security Officer – Dallas, TX

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week

Schedule Options:

• Wednesday–Sunday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Friday–Tuesday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Overnight availability and weekend coverage are required for all schedules.

Position Summary

We are actively hiring dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers for overnight high-rise assignments in Dallas, TX. This position is ideal for candidates with strong high-rise, commercial, or concierge-style security experience who are comfortable working independently during overnight hours while maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, guests, and property staff.

The ideal officer demonstrates excellent situational awareness, strong customer service skills, and the ability to handle incidents with professionalism and urgency in a fast-paced high-rise setting.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols throughout high-rise properties
• Monitor access control systems, CCTV, alarms, and building activity during overnight operations
• Maintain a strong and visible security presence to help prevent unauthorized activity and safety concerns
• Control building access by verifying visitors, vendors, and contractors
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and tenant concerns
• Prepare detailed incident reports, shift logs, and daily activity reports
• Work closely with property management and building staff to ensure smooth overnight operations
• Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing property policies and safety procedures
• Remain alert and proactive throughout overnight and weekend shifts

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Level II Non-Commissioned Security License required
• Previous high-rise security experience strongly preferred
• Minimum 1 year of security, commercial, residential tower, or concierge security experience preferred
• Ability to work overnight schedules on a consistent basis
• Weekend availability is required
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and dependable work ethic
• Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-traffic or emergency situations
• Experience with access control systems and CCTV monitoring is a plus
